This is a poem I wrote when I was having that moment where u wonder the things that are impossible to comprehend. Like what heaven is like and how we are gonna be perfect with no pain or tears or night. So I hope this encourages
When the sands of time are gently passing
And my life on earth is gone
My human flesh will be no more
But my glorified soul will go on.
And as it raises towards the heavens
And the clouds and stars roll by
The world that I once lived in
Will crumble up and die
And I'll wonder to myself
As men pass to their grave
"How many did I witness to?"
"How many did God save?"
Did I accomplish down on earth
What God needed me to do
Or did I waste my life
Watching a movie or two?
But it would be too late
My life would already be set
The things I've done, the places I've been
And the people I have met.
Will God ever forgive me
For everything I've done?
I know my good will weigh an average
But my bad will weigh a ton
And my soul will go into glory
And beyond a Great Light
And as I'll walk towards the majesty
It'll reveal the seat of Christ.
And there He'll sit in His long White Robe
Waiting to see me
As I'll start to shake as He reveals a smile
Knowing I'll be with Him for eternity
And as He'll open the Book, and the golden pages will turn
It'll stop as my feet go numb
His beautiful finger will point down to my name
As He looks and He says, "Well Done"
"You believed in Me. You worshipped Me.
You served Me even though you sinned
I love you. So, do me a favor
And enter into the kingdom of heaven"
WHEN IT'S MY TIME...........................
I hope that this will encourage u to always remember what God did for u and remember to thank God for not giving us what we deserve.
Rev 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
